Not content with the massive line up for The Winter Wonderland, the promoters have been working hard to secure the services of the one and only MC Enemy, read on to hear how his year has been and what you can expect from him at The Winter Wonderland!

How has your 2009 been?

Crazy! Hardcore has just blown up for me this year its been mad, all the great sets like Westfest main stage, Tranzmission b2b with Whizzkid, and Hardcore Heaven early on in the year b2b with Storm on Hixxys set, the things I used to dream about when I was trying to come through. So yeah its been hectic! Also representing the scene on the Ministry of Sound Dance Nation tour, that was a massive highlight and not forgetting mine and statics new project Barwars, that’s taken off big time 35,000 downloads over 2 volumes, way too much to talk about to be honest 09 been an amazing year for me definitely!

Who’s been your favourite DJ of 2009?

All of them to be honest! I work with all the boys so got respect for all the DJs. I really do think Joey Riot has stepped it up this year though with the tunes coming through lethal at the moment, its all back to the bounce and big sounding riffs so enjoying our sets at moment. All of the DJs have smashed it this year big time!

Who’s been your favourite Producer of 2009?

Again all of them this year have produced slammers so wouldn’t be able to answer that!

Who’s been your favourite MC (other than yourself) of 2009?

Go to say Static haven’t I! haha, other then that I’ve been concentrating on only me not other MCs this year. I’d rather put my focus into what im doing not what others are doing but as I work with Static I listen to him and make sure he doesn’t shoot right ahead of me!

Anything exciting planned for 2010 that you can tell us about?

I have a lot planned for 2010, a few bits can’t say a word about but put it this way Barwars is going to get bigger, we’ve got some of the BEST DJs in the world lined up for future mixes, maybe even a rave one day or even an album in shops who knows, but barwars is taking off big time. On the MC front I have a few commercial projects with a DJ called Mob that are pretty impressive and turning heads this year, so fingers crossed they will be put out for the world to hear! 2010 for me is the year I’m going to try tostep it up a bit and make sure I cause a tidal wave in the scene, I think i’m almost ready for it all now so hopefully i’ll be on my game all next year.

Who’s looking hot for 2010?

DJ MOB the guy is serious talent one of the best producers around at moment, even out of the big boys, and he hasn’t even began to break through yet! he will definately be a massive DJ soon as long as he keeps his head down and doesn’t eat too much pizza!

Theres a few MCs that are doing it that I wont mention but will be pushed on Barwars 4 and 5.

My old friend JBC, hes finally smashing out the tracks and definitely will be a name for 2010, and obviously TEKNICORE as he’s one of us new raverbaby boys and is just pure epicness. MC Keyes who won the award this year and recently took my most hated MC title. DAMN YOU KEYES haha, he’s smashing it at the moment, so big ups bro!

How do you think the economic downturn has had an impact on ravers? Have you noticed a difference?

Not in the big raves as much, I mean yeah it’s thinned out a tiny little bit but its more in the small small raves that you notice it MCing to about 10 peeps makes you notice it haha, also know one can afford to go to every rave if they have no job, so this year everyones just been saving cash for the big one like HTID in the sun, the weekenders etc… but I got a feeling next year will be a good year.

What’s your favourite Christmas Carol?

Jingle bells batman smells.

What have you asked Santa for this year?

Ha, you know what… the new call of duty I’ve had to sit and watch my mates play it, big it up, love it etc, and not able to go and buy it because Santa MAYBE getting it for me for Crimbo, so I have stoped myself getting it! I swear if I wake up and don’t have this game i’ll hunt santa down and rip his beard off!

What can we expect from you at Winter Wonderland?

New rhymes loads of bars, the occasional moan at bubble for track direction haha, just a bunch of new stuff and an awesome set.

If your friends were looking to go somewhere on 27th December for a night out, where would you tell them to go?

Anywhere but Winter Wonderland, they got a real life elf who DJs there, laughs like a clown and is called BUBBLE haha, Winter Wonderland is the place to be so get ya asses there!!!
